Welcome to RootsoftheWorld's August/September blog!

This month sees the launch of a unique service: "Newcastle Roots Music Radio" from my very self. This monthly podcast aims to provide a guide to what's on in NE England, particularly in the Newcastle area in world/folk/roots music. It also hopes to provide a potted guide to what's new in world/folk/roots music as well as playing some oldies. This month's blog is briefer than others will be as the "radio station" is currently working through some technical/promotional issues....the life of a podcaster is not an easy one, especially when you are doing it for nowt!
